Leaders Recruitment Campaign

VOLUNTEER LEADERS URGENTLY REQUIRED

**  SECTION ASSISTANTS & SCOUT LEADERS REQUIRED **

These voluntary roles will involve helping to run weekly meetings and supporting the Leaders  with the development of the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts by encouraging them to try exciting new activities, to help other people, to take part in outdoor adventure, to create things, but above all else… encouraging  them to have fun!

WHY VOLUNTEER?

  • You’ll have fun and feel rewarded
  • You’ll learn new skills
  • You’ll make new friends
  • You’ll gain externally recognised qualifications
  • You’ll add to your CV
  • You’ll make a difference and give something back to your community

Volunteering in Scouting is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable things you can do and you will be making a positive difference to the lives of young people within your community. You do not need to be a parent, previous scouting experience is not essential, neither do you need any special qualifications. The Group makes it really easy for adults to volunteer around their other commitments and all our Leaders  receive excellent in-house training and our full support.

Xmas Fayre & Santa Float ‘A BIG BIG THANKYOU’

A big thank you for all donations, help & support you gave us to make this years Xmas Fayre a huge success.

Also, Many Thanks for the help we had on the Santa Float.

Both events were very successful and worthwhile, raising just over £1000.00 between them.

This is a great result, and the money will help us with maintenance of the Headquarters and offset the cost of activities undertaken by the Beavers & Cubs

***WELL DONE EVERYBODY ***
